There were only a few times I could find anyone that made authentic fireweed jelly when I lived up north. One supplier only had 3 jars, I gave them to my 3 nephews when their mother passed, something to remind them of her time in Alaska. Now I have jelly. I bought a new toaster just for this shipment, and even if I had it cranked a bit high, even burnt toast tastes good with this stuff. I'm fine-tuning the temp settings, I'm out of practice since I gave my old toaster to goodwill. But I'm going to make perfect toast.
Seriously, for a blossom-jelly this is the best. I had 1 jar with a cracked lid but I'm eating it as fast as I can. :^)
one lid was cracked and leaked a bit, but with a large order I expected it. The jelly is amazing, I know it's like rose-leaf jelly, it's a very light flavor, it shouldn't be noticed on a sausage biscuit, but there were hints. I also found out I discarded my toaster years ago instead of the waffle maker I haven't used in 20 years, so now I need a toaster.
