Trade Bead Earring

1800's Trade Bead earrings on hammered Sterling silver hand made ear wires. I was asked by the Alaska Museum in Juneau to make some trade beads earrings and it was hard to find a way to showcase the trade beads to see their design and aged hand made nature. Then I started hammering and stamping and mixing materials and I really like how the slice of shell and hammered copper or silver makes a nice little back ground for the trade beads secured right in the center.
