Denali Wonder - Double Matted Print

Photo description: I entered Denali National Park & Preserve, professional photography permit in hand, and drove down the gravel road in the drizzling rain. The next day I awoke to clearing skies and couldn’t believe how quickly my luck had changed. By late afternoon Denali’s North Peak was fully unveiled so I grabbed by tripod, camera & bear spray and had an exhilarating hike to a vantage point that blew me away. On June 14, 2017 at 12:22 am–just minutes after official sunset–I preserved this “Land of the Midnight Sun” moment and took in the wonder of it all.

Local photographer Todd Salat is known across Alaska for his photos of the aurora borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, as well as breath-taking Alaska landscapes.

All paper prints are hand signed and titled by Todd.

Matted 5x7 and Matted 8x10 photos have a Navy Blue top mat and the inner mat varies depending on the photo colors. The Matted 5x7 fits a standard 8x10 frame, and the Matted 8x10 fits a standard 11x14 frame.
