These are our mid-weight flame stitch alpaca striped socks and the 1" elastic band is knit at the top of the sock.  These socks were designed by Mary Ann Weerts, our founder.  A good customer of ours wanted something that looked like a mountain so Mary Ann came up with this design.  This is a great trouser or leggings sock for work as this is a mid-weight sock.  These socks are soft, warm, and very comfortable yet lightweight, and not as thick in your shoe or boot.

Great socks!

Picked these up for my daughter to wear with her XTRATUF ankle deck boots and they were the perfect height. Very comfortable and stylish! She actually wore them with the XTRATUF boots in our other daughter’s Seward wedding :)

We are so glad that she enjoys them. We love these socks too! They do a great job. And so reasonable. Thanks for supporting our small biz here in Seward and taking the time to share!
